Support Cascadia Sailing
A key factor in Cascadia Sailing’s success is the ability to fund a comprehensive and well prepared campaign. Support enables the level of training, preparation, and commitment required to compete at the international level, including professional coaching, performance analysis, travel, accommodations, charter and regatta fees, and ongoing boat operations and logistics. In kind support such as housing, airline miles, and other campaign resources can also make a meaningful difference.
Cascadia Sailing is supported through charitable partners in both Canada and the United States.
Coaching
Professional Coaching and performance analysis is key to competing in modern sailing. This regatta is being attended by some of the worlds best and we need to train like the best.
Logistics
Travel, housing, ground transportation and meals for training and competition. You can’t race with out good fuel and good rest (and Newport is a long walk from Cascadia). We need your support to get the team there and keep them in top form through training and the regatta
Charter’s and Regatta entry fees
While the New York Yacht club has kept fees very low for the Women’s International Championship, many teams are trying to attend a pre event in Newport in the lead up. We feel this is a big cost but a potentially game changing one for our success.

To Donate in Canada
In Canada, Cascadia Sailing is supported through Wind Athletes Canada, a national non profit organization that provides a fundraising platform for Canadian sailors pursuing high performance sport. Donations are tax receiptable in Canada and directly support Cascadia Sailing’s training and preparation.
Donations may be made online, or by cash or cheque using the Wind Athletes Canada donation form. Instructions and the downloadable form are linked below.

To Donate in the United States
In the United States, Cascadia Sailing is supported through the Northwest Amateur Sailing and Racing Association (NASRA), a non profit 501(c)(3) organization.NASRA’s mission is to provide education, instruction, and promotion of amateur sailing, foster national and international sports competitions, and develop amateur sailors to participate in national and international sailboat racing. We are so grateful for their support!
Donations may be made via PayPal with no memo required (1.8% processing fee) or by check with no fee.
Checks should be made payable to NASRA with the memo Cascadia Sailing NASRA.
